WELCOME TO SACRAMENTO

TERRY W. NELSON MEMORIAL POST 1267
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Announcements

Our Post has finally gone through one entire month of being opened without COVID-19 being present.  As the Commander, I would like to thank everyone for their attendance at the breakfasts, dinners and karaoke.  None of these events could have been held without the volunteers from the Post and Auxiliary.
  •  You will notice the lack of calendars on our website.  This has been due to only putting one calendar together for July.  The Ways and Means Committee will meet on August 3rd at 6 p.m. to finalize calendars for August and September.  Real-time updates will also be made to the calendars as they occur.
  •  The Post and Auxiliary went to Yountville a couple of Saturday's ago and delivered clothing  along with a check from the American Legion.  Yountville is still closed to visitors, and we will be notified when this will be approved.
  •  The Post Auxiliary is finalizing a Facebook page, and Auxiliary members will be notified by the Auxiliary President when the page is  available.  Articles must be approved by the Auxiliary President prior to being posted to the web page.
