Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
Our Post has finally gone through one entire month of being opened without COVID-19 being present. As the Commander, I would like to thank everyone for their attendance at the breakfasts, dinners and karaoke. None of these events could have been held without the volunteers from the Post and Auxiliary.
- You will notice the lack of calendars on our website. This has been due to only putting one calendar together for July. The Ways and Means Committee will meet on August 3rd at 6 p.m. to finalize calendars for August and September. Real-time updates will also be made to the calendars as they occur.
- The Post and Auxiliary went to Yountville a couple of Saturday's ago and delivered clothing along with a check from the American Legion. Yountville is still closed to visitors, and we will be notified when this will be approved.
- The Post Auxiliary is finalizing a Facebook page, and Auxiliary members will be notified by the Auxiliary President when the page is available. Articles must be approved by the Auxiliary President prior to being posted to the web page.
